The short version: we keep your email and purchase so we can send and recover your license. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card. The app sends anonymous usage stats, never your files or your list of apps. We don't sell anything about you and there are no ads.
Who we are
AppZapper is made by Austin Sarner and Brian Ball. Questions about this page: help@appzapper.com.
When you buy
- Stripe (the payment company) takes your payment. We get your name, email, the plan and the amount. We never receive your card number.
- We keep that record so we can email your license, let you look it up again at appzapper.com/help, and handle refunds.
- We send email through Resend (an email delivery service): your license, receipts, and occasional news about AppZapper.
- News emails record whether they were opened and which links were clicked, so we can tell what's useful. Every news email has a one-click unsubscribe.
- If you write to us, we keep the conversation so we can help you.
The app
- AppZapper 3000 sends anonymous usage stats through TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service. This tells us things like which features get used and which macOS versions to support. It is not tied to your name or email.
- It checks appzapper.com for updates.
- The app never sends your files, your list of installed apps, or what you zap.
This website
- The site runs on Cloudflare, which handles every visit and keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site up and block abuse.
- We don't use advertising trackers or sell data to anyone.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the data we hold about you. Email help@appzapper.com from the address you bought with. We'll reply within one month. If you delete your purchase record, we can no longer recover your license for you, so save your license code first.
We keep purchase records for as long as you might need your license, and as long as tax law requires.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes go out by email to customers.
